Huntingdon County man died of natural causes

RIDGWAY — A Huntingdon County man who was found dead in Elk County this week died of natural causes, according to Ridgway-based state police.

Police stated that at 11:08 a.m. Monday, they responded to the area of Grant Road/Route 555, Benezette Township, for a report of an unattended death. David Slaughter, 55 of Alexandria, Huntingdon County, died of natural causes, it was determined through the preliminary investigation.
