COVID-19 is on the decline in Pennsylvania, and about 75% of state residents 18 and older have had at least one vaccine, according to the state’s health department.
The statewide positivity rate was 1.2% for the most recent week.
On June 1, McKean County had 3,771 cases to date. As of Thursday, the county had 3,812, for a total of 41 cases in a month. From May 1 to June 1, there were 271 new positive cases. As for vaccines, there have been 8,018 partially vaccinated and 10,566 fully vaccinated.
In Elk County, there were 2,869 cases as of Thursday, which is 8 more than as of June 1. From May 1 to June 1, there were 52 new cases.
In Potter County, there were 1,221 cases as of Thursday, which is 39 more than there were as of June 1. From May 1 to June 1, there were 104 new cases.
In Cameron County, there were 309 cases as of Thursday, which is 6 more than one month before. From May 1 to June 1, there were 13 new cases.
According to the CDC, as of June 30, Pennsylvania has administered first doses of vaccine to 62.7% of its entire population, and the state ranks 9th among all 50 states for first doses administered by percentage of population.
According to the CDC, as of Wednesday, June 30, 60.1% of Pennsylvanians age 18 and older are fully vaccinated while 75.4% have received their first dose.

The health department said vaccine providers have administered 11,685,265 total vaccine doses as of Thursday.
