arrested on alleged burglary
A Bradford woman is facing criminal charges after she allegedly walked into someone’s apartment and took multiple items.
Amanda S. Harris, 29, of 108 E. Main St., was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Dominic Cercone on charges of burglary, a first-degree felony; theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, second-degree misdemeanors.
According to the criminal complaint, on May 28, Bradford City Police were contacted to talk to the alleged victim about a theft report. The victim had footage from a ring doorbell camera that showed Harris allegedly entering the victim’s South Avenue apartment.
Court records outlined what the video showed: at 9:48 a.m. May 28, Harris entered the apartment wearing a short-sleeved shirt and carrying a gray shopping bag; at 10:39 a.m., she exited the apartment wearing a white Adidas sweatshirt and carrying a pink duffle bag.
The sweatshirt and duffle bag both belonged to the victim and were valued at $102, the complaint stated.
Four children and a babysitter were at the apartment at the time of the alleged theft, according to court records.
Harris is in McKean County Jail in lieu of 10% of $2,000 bail, and a preliminary hearing is set for July 14.

Port Allegany man
accused of making threats
A Port Allegany man has been accused of pushing another male and threatening to kill the male if he told police.
Garrett Trimm, 21, of 5511 Route 155 South, was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge William Todd on charges of terroristic threats, a third-degree felony; simple assault, a first-degree misdemeanor; harassment and disorderly conduct, summary charges.
The criminal complaint states that at 4:55 p.m. May 25, Port Allegany Police were dispatched to a report of an assault on East Mill Street. The alleged victim told police that Trimm pushed him from his chair, which broke, and the victim landed in his doorway and suffered minor injuries to his stomach.
Then, Trimm picked up the chair, threw it off the porch, picked up the alleged victim, shoved him against the door frame and started yelling at him, according to the complaint. Trimm, who accused the male of taking his phone, went inside the residence to look for his phone.
Trimm told the male that if the cops were called, he would kill the male; then Trimm pushed the male again and left, the complaint stated.
Trimm is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, and a preliminary hearing is set for July 12.
