A notice from the City of Bradford Police on Wednesday spelled out some fireworks laws within the city limits.
“There is nowhere in the immediate residential areas to legally set off fireworks within the city limits,” the notice read.
“Only people aged 18 years and older are allowed to buy, possess, or use consumer fireworks,” the notice from police continued. “Fireworks cannot be used on public property or on private property without the owner’s written consent. They can’t be set off within 150 feet of an occupied structure, under trees, or power lines.”
Police will be enforcing firework laws.
