SAYRE — The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers is pleased to announce the 2021 scholarship recipients. The Community Foundation currently administers funds that specifically provide scholarships to students in Bradford, Potter, Sullivan and Tioga counties in Pennsylvania and Tioga County, N.Y.
Community Foundation Scholarships can be established by individual donors, corporations, and are often in honor or in memory of a loved one.
Darlene J. Sitler Memorial Scholarship of $1,000 was awarded to Audrianna J. Torrey of Northern Potter High School, who plans to attend Lindenwood University.
Gerald F. Duffee Sr. Scholarship of $1,000 was awarded to Kylie Welsh of Austin Area High School, who plans to attend Bloomsburg University.
Jon R. Cowburn Scholarship of $500 went to Mary J. Lincoln of Northern Potter High, who plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
Major Lance A. Newton Scholarship of $500 went to Carter W. Stedman of Oswayo Valley High, who will attend Lock Haven University.
Northern Potter Scholarship of $2,200 was awarded to Audrianna J. Torrey of Northern Potter High School, who plans to attend Lindenwood University.
Patrick W. Rayn Creative Writing and English Scholarship of $1,350 went to Sarah M. Chambers of Coudersport High, who plans to attend Skidmore College.
Potter County Farm & Foresty Family Scholarship of $1,000 went to Leia E. Watson of Coudersport High, who plans to attend Waynesburg University.
Reiman Family Scholarship of $2,000 went to Mary J. Lincoln of Northern Potter High, who plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
Rose Marie Tubbs Memorial Scholarship of $1,000 went to Audrianna J. Torrey of Northern Potter High School, who plans to attend Lindenwood University.
Ruth Agar Memorial Scholarship of $1,000 went to Mary J. Lincoln of Northern Potter High, who plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. Tomb Family Scholarship of $1,100 went to Lincoln as well.
