Zonta Club
On Tuesday, the Zonta Club of Bradford held its Mystery Dinner, which included a picnic that was held at Foster Township Park and catered by CJ’s Barbecue.
Fran Stewart, president, welcomed members and several potential members. The group recited The Zonta Prayer, then ate dinner.
Everyone played several games. Lisa Chapman led the group in a lively game of Jeopardy, The Women Addition. The guest and prospective members had the opportunity to introduce themselves and also learn a little bit about the Zonta Club.
An installation of new board members and vice president was held. Stewart inducted Holly Puglio as vice president and Karen Cassin, Ronda Skoken, and Suzy Meyer-Page as board members. Each received a yellow rose as part of her induction.
The Zonta Club does not meet in the months of July and August. The guest will be asked to attend a membership event in September.
Anyone wishing to join the club at its membership event in September is asked to contact any Zonta member or reach out to the Zonta Club of Bradford PA Facebook page.
Stewart closed the meeting by thanking the planning committee for the event. She also praised the entire club on all of their accomplishments this year.
