Northwest Bank recently made a $5,000 contribution to CARE for Children Rainbow Corner Preschool.
The preschool is an approved Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organization, through the State of Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).
Norm Strotman, senior vice president of Northwest, made the donation. He currently serves as the president of the CARE for Children board of directors.
“We are grateful for Northwest Bank’s generous contribution made through the EITC program which helps CARE provide tuition to eligible students to attend preschool, making early learning more accessible and affordable for working families,” said Tina M. Martin, CARE executive director. Northwest Bank’s contribution will help fund scholarships for the 2021-2022 school year.
