ALLEGANY, N.Y. — The second Margaret A. Kenney Memorial Euchre Tournament to Fight Diabetes will be hosted Sept. 25 by the Olean Lions Club and Hamilton Court #2, Order of the Amaranth.
The tournament will be held at the Allegany American Legion Post 892, 4350 Route 417 West, Allegany. Registration will begin at 11 a.m., and play will start at noon.
The event will include lunch, door prizes and raffles.
A $10 donation will be accepted at the door. Proceeds will benefit diabetes research.
Margaret Kenney was a highly decorated and long serving member of the Lions and the Amaranth and spent a good part of her life raising money for those in need. She was especially valiant in her efforts to raise funds for diabetes.
