Looking to get a head start in celebrating Independence Day? Go to the Patriotic and Popular Music event this Sunday.
Every year Bradford Landmark Society hosts the Twin Tiers Community Band at Crook Farm for a summertime concert, and 2021 is no exception.
The concert will be outdoors at the farm from 2 to 4 p.m.
Sunday will also be the day of a perennial plant sale at Crook Farm, which will take place starting at 10 a.m. and continuing until the concert begins at 2 p.m.
Linda Brocius raised the plants and is donating the proceeds to Bradford Landmark Society, explained Harrijane Moore, Landmark board member.
This means that people can brighten their yards and support the organization at the same time.
The concert is free to attend. There will be hot dogs, ice cream and bottled water for sale. Moore noted that a couple members of the American Association of University Women are volunteering their time to help with refreshments.
Moore suggested that people coming to enjoy the concert may want to bring a chair or blanket so they have somewhere to relax while they listen.
She is hopeful for nice weather on Sunday, too.
