Paige Craig has been named recipient of the 2021 Honey Lee Colella Scholarship.
The $500 scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from Bradford Area High School who exemplifies academic excellence, a passion for teaching, love of children and a desire to instill a love for learning in each young student.
Craig is in her third year of child development class at BAHS and has volunteered at George G. Blaisdell working with preschoolers and kindergarteners at The Learning Center Preschool. Through the years, she has volunteered for many community projects.
She will attend St. Bonaventure University majoring in early childhood education with a minor in behavioral psychology. She is the daughter of Dustin and Jessica Craig.
Honey Lee Colella taught first grade in the Bradford schools for 37 years.
