Rape charges against Bradford man bound to court
Charges against a man accused of raping a teen and providing her with methamphetamine were bound to McKean County Court at a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Richard Luther.
Daniel J. Roach, 45, is charged with is charged with six counts each of rape of a substantially impaired person and statutory sexual assault-11 years older, all first-degree felonies; one count of aggravated indecent assault-person less than 16 and six counts of incest, second-degree felonies; five counts of corruption of minors, third-degree felonies; six counts of endangering the welfare of children, first-degree misdemeanors; and six counts of indecent assault-person less than 16, second-degree misdemeanors.
According to the criminal complaint, while Roach was living at the Econo Lodge on South Avenue at the cost of the county, he had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl and provided her with meth.
Roach is being held in McKean County Jail in lieu of $300,000 bail for this case.

Sexual assault charges against NY man bound to court
Sexual assault charges against a Randolph, N.Y., man were bound to McKean County Court at a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Richard Luther.
Tristan Holdridge, 24, is charged with sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault without consent, second-degre felonies; and indecent assault without consent, a second-degree misdemeanor.
According to the court records, on April 12, 2019, Holdridge came to the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, and he and a female went to the female’s apartment. The female told him that she was not interested in sexual conduct.
Holdridge allegedly started to touch and kiss the female; she did not kiss him back and she told him no. He had sexual intercourse with her, during which she told him “no” and that it hurt multiple times, the criminal complaint alleged.
Holdridge is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Bradford man waives hearing for aggravated assault charges
A Bradford man who is accused of assaulting police waived a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Dominic Cercone.
Jordan M. Johnson, 20, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, second-degree felonies; resisting arrest and escape, both second-degree misdemeanors.
According to Bradford City Police, at 9:38 a.m. June 10, officers responded to 138 East Ave. to help a state parole officer who was involved in a physical altercation with a parolee. The parole officer was trying to detain the parolee, and the person was allegedly resisting.
Police reported that the parole officer suffered minor injuries and was later treated in the emergency room at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
City police took Johnson into custody, and when officers were placing him into the patrol car, Johnson allegedly tried to escape. He was immediately captured and taken to the Bradford City police station, according to police.
At the station, Johnson kicked an officer, “intentionally causing pain and minor injury,” police stated.
Johnson is free on unsecured bail.
