An inmate at the McKean County Jail has been arrested on additional charges for allegedly having someone smuggle methamphetamine into the jail for her.
Haley Neilly, 26, whose address is given as the jail, is charged with conspiracy to provide contraband of a controlled substance to a confined person, a second-degree felony; and conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony.
According to the criminal complaint, on April 3, Neilly conspired with Ernest Robinson to bring drugs into the jail by concealing the drugs inside personal clothing items. On April 4, during a recorded video visit between Robinson and Neilly, he told her “you’re going to like your socks,” the complaint stated.
Robinson brought clothing items to the jail and gave them to a corrections officer. When the items were searched, the officer found methamphetamine, the complaint stated.
Neilly, who remains incarcerated, was arraigned before District Judge Bill Todd on Thursday, and bail was set at $15,000. A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for June 14.
