An ATV accident in Bradford Township Sunday resulted in injuries for two individuals involved.
At 8:32 p.m., Bradford Township Police, along with Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department and two City of Bradford ambulances responded to the Gilbert Reservoir Access Road for a one-vehicle crash involving a 2008 Polaris Razor 800 ATV.
According to Bradford Township Police, the ATV was operated by a male juvenile, with another male passenger. The ATV lost control on the gravel roadway and the vehicle rolled over, pinning the operator underneath, police said.
The operator was able to free himself after a short period trapped under the ATV and sustained cuts and abrasions as a result of the accident. He was treated at Bradford Regional Medical Center and released.
The passenger, according to Bradford Township police, suffered cuts, abrasions and a severe hand injury. He was transported to a landing zone and flown to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
