WILCOX — A fundraiser concert will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at The Dam Inn in Wilcox.
Bailey Pretak and friends are holding a “Broadway birthday bash” to benefit FIRST (Foundation for Ichthyosis and Related Skin Types).
The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are required and can be purchased by contacting Tracie Pretak at 814-594-7790 ortraciepretak@gmail.com. Seating is limited. It is highly recommended that you purchase tickets in advance, as there may not be any available at the door.
The concert will feature local talent performing their favorite Broadway show tunes. The purpose of this event is to celebrate Pretak’s birthday, increase awareness about her skin disorder (ichthyosis), and raise funds for her favorite charity (FIRST). She was born with lamellar ichthyosis and has done grassroots fundraisers for this charity for over 30 years. She currently serves on FIRST’s Board of Directors.
The talented friends who will join her on stage include Tracie Pretak of Wilcox; Haley Freeburg of Ridgway; Gabriella Fye of Pittsburgh; Dane Lee of North Canton, Ohio; Julia Defranco, Marshall Hetrick and Emily Peluso of Johnsonburg; Alicia Kim, Mara Lecker, Lyndsey Weidow and Will VanSlander of St. Marys; Ross Bish, Beth Lenaway and Moira Stanisch of Kane; Jenny Crowley, Megan Inghram and Hannah Ross of Mount Jewett. Ensemble members include: Anna Biondi, Emily DeCarli and Katie DeCarli of Ridgway; and Shana Polaski of Johnsonburg.
