A Bradford man was jailed Friday for allegations that he sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant.

James P. Kemick, 36, of 137 N. Center St., Bradford, was arraigned Friday on charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony; criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

According to the criminal complaint, at 8:02 p.m. April 27, Kemick sold 3.7 grams of meth to a confidential informant with the McKean County Drug Task Force in exchange for $150.

Kemick was incarcerated in McKean County Jail in lieu of $100,000, and a preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday.

Court records indicate there are at least two other unresolved cases against Kemick in McKean County.

In one, he is scheduled for a formal arraignment Thursday in McKean County Court in a previous case in which he is charged with receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Also, he is awaiting consideration from the Superior Court for an appeal his attorney filed in a case for a burglary that allegedly happened in 2017.
