There were nine additional cases of COVID-19 in the local region, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health on Thursday.
McKean County had five more cases, for a total of 3,755, 2,860 confirmed and 895 probable; Elk County had two more cases, for a total of 2,858, 1,575 confirmed and 1,283 probable; Cameron County had two additional cases for a total of 303, 207 confirmed and 96 probable; and Potter County remained at 1,175, with 1028 confirmed and 147 probable.
As of Thursday, McKean County had 11,164 negative tests and 72 deaths due to COVID-19; Elk County, 6,496 negative tests and 39 deaths; Potter, 3,611 negative tests and 23 deaths; and Cameron County, 1,079 negative tests and 7 deaths.
Pennsylvania reported 1,005,804 confirmed and 193,732 probable cases of COVID-19 Thursday, for a total of 1,199,536. There have been 27,163 deaths in the state due to COVID-19, with 4,583,887 negative tests.
As for vaccines, McKean County has 8,487 residents partially and 8,706 residents fully vaccinated; Elk County, 1,807 partially and 12,555 fully; Potter County, 1,315 partially and 3,084 fully; and Cameron, 293 partially and 1,856 fully.
Statewide, there have been 5,796,720 partial and 4,589,247 full vaccines administered, for a total of 10,385,967.
McKean County currently has one patient in the hospital with COVID-19, while both Elk and Potter counties have two.
Statewide, there are 1,152 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, with 289 adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit and 172 patients on ventilators.
