Wednesday’s coronavirus totals increased for two counties while staying the same for the other two in The Era’s coverage area. One new case has been reported in McKean County and three new cases in Potter County, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health Wednesday. Elk and Cameron counties had the same totals as reported Tuesday.
In McKean County, there are a total of 3,750 cases, 2,855 confirmed and 895 probable cases of coronavirus as of Wednesday. There have been 11,151 negative tests conducted and 72 deaths reported due to COVID-19.
In Potter County, there are 1,175 total cases, 1,028 confirmed and 147 probable. To date, 3,064 negative tests have been conducted and 23 deaths reported.
In Elk County, there are 2,856 total cases, 1,575 confirmed cases and 1,281 probable cases of coronavirus. There have been 6,487 negative tests conducted and 39 deaths due to COVID-19.
Cameron County’s totals remain at 205 confirmed cases and 96 probable.
As of Wednesday, Pennsylvania had 1,005,077 confirmed cases and 193,518 probable cases of COVID-19. There have been 4,575,999 negative tests conducted and 27,123 deaths due to COVID-19.
Throughout the state, there are 1,172 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, and of those, 296 adults are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). There are 177 patients on ventilators.
There is one patient hospitalized with COVID-19 in McKean County and one in Potter County, but there are no patients on ventilators. In Elk County, there are no patients hospitalized with coronavirus as of Wednesday.
The number of Pennsylvanians who have received vaccinations has reached 10,321,111, which includes 5,768,985 partial vaccinations and 4,552,126 full vaccinations.
In McKean County, 8,490 partial vaccines and 8,658 full vaccines have been administered to residents.
Vaccines in Elk County are at 1,800 partial vaccines administered and 12,516 full vaccines.
In Potter County, there have been 1,283 partial and 3,070 full vaccines administered.
In Cameron County, 291 partial vaccines have been administered and 1,854 full vaccines.
