There were another dozen cases of COVID-19 added to the local case count as of Tuesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County had 9 more cases of COVID-19, for a total of 3,749.
Potter County had 3 more cases for 1,172. The case counts for Elk and Cameron counties didn’t change, and were 2,856 and 301, respectively.
In the state, there were 906 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 1,197,468.
As for vaccines, in McKean County, there were 8,456 partially covered and 8,642 fully covered; in Elk County, there were 1,800 partially covered and 12,479 fully covered; in Potter County, there were 1,282 partially covered and 3,062 fully covered; and in Cameron County, 289 partially covered and 1,853 fully covered.
As of Tuesday morning, Pennsylvania has administered first doses of vaccine to 56.9% of its entire population, and the state ranks 9th among all 50 states for first doses administered by percentage of population, according to the CDC. In the state, 52.1% of people age 18 and older are fully vaccinated.
