Three additional cases of COVID-19 were reported in the region as of Monday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County had two additional cases of COVID-19 on Monday for 3,740 total cases and 72 deaths. There have been 11,144 negative tests. There were 102 negative tests logged between May 16 and Monday.
In one month, McKean County has had 306 additional cases of COVID-19 and 448 negative tests.
Elk County had one additional case as of Monday for 2,856 and 39 deaths; there were 6,478 negative tests. There were 59 negative tests logged in the last week.
In one month, Elk County has had 71 additional cases and 300 negative tests.
Potter County remained unchanged at 1,169 cases and 23 deaths; there were 3,599 negative tests. There were 47 negative tests logged in the last week. In one month, the county has had 114 additional cases and 189 negative tests.
Cameron County remained unchanged at 301 cases and 7 deaths; there were 1,075 negative tests. There were 9 negative tests logged in the last week. In the past month, the county has had 14 additional cases and 35 negative tests.
In the state, there were 693 additional positive cases of COVID-19, in addition to 856 new cases reported Sunday, for a two-day total of 1,549 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 1,196,562.
Regarding vaccinations, the CDC indicated that as of Monday, Pennsylvania has administered first doses of vaccine to 56.7% of its entire population, and the state ranks 9th among all 50 states for first doses administered by percentage of population.
As of Monday, there had been 8,482 partial vaccinations in McKean County, and 8,604 full vaccinations; in Elk, 1,794 partial, and 12,473 full; in Potter, 1,278 partial and 3,062 full; and in Cameron, 293 partial and 1,844 full.
