All four counties in The Era’s coverage area have new cases of COVID-19.
McKean County reported 16 new cases of COVID-19, while Elk County had three new cases, Potter County had 10 new cases and Cameron County had one new case reported as of Friday.
McKean County has 3,722 total cases of COVID-19, including 2,840 confirmed and 882 probable cases, with 11,102 negative tests conducted and 71 deaths reported.
There are no patients hospitalized due to coronavirus in McKean County, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s hospital preparedness dashboard information.
Cameron County has 301 cases of COVID-19, 205 confirmed cases and 96 probable; 1,073 negative tests have been conducted and 6 deaths have been reported. Elk County has 2,854 cases, 1,572 confirmed and 1,282 probable cases, with 6,457 negative tests conducted and 39 deaths reported.
Potter County has 1,167 cases of coronavirus, 1,024 confirmed cases and 143 probable, with 3,586 negative tests conducted and 23 deaths to date.
Potter County also currently has four patients hospitalized due to COVID-19, none of whom are on ventilators.
As of Friday, Pennsylvania had 1,001,346 confirmed cases and 192,009 probable cases of COVID-19. There have been 4,548,782 negative tests conducted statewide, and to date, there have been 26,990 deaths due to coronavirus.
In terms of vaccines, Pennsylvania has passed the 10 million mark for doses administered. The Pennsylvania Department of Health’s vaccine dashboard reported that 10,066,220 vaccines have been administered; 5,666,642 partial and 4,399,578 full.
In McKean County, 7,924 partial and 8,506 full vaccines have been administered. In Elk County, 1,805 partial and 12,367 full vaccines have been administered.
Potter County has administered 1,271 partial and 3,024 full vaccines, while Cameron County has administered 295 partial and 1,836 full vaccines.
