Three of the four counties in The Era’s coverage area recorded new cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday. McKean County has three new cases, Elk County has four new cases, Potter County has 10 new cases and Cameron County’s case count remains steady at 300.
McKean County has a total of 3,705 cases, 2,824 confirmed and 881 probable. There have been 11,057 negative tests conducted and 70 deaths reported.
Elk County has a total of 2,851 recorded cases, 1,570 confirmed and 1,281 probable. There have been 6,427 negative tests conducted and 39 deaths reported.
Potter County has 1,150 cases, which breaks down to 1,008 confirmed cases and 142 probable cases. To date, 3,564 negative tests have been conducted and 23 deaths have been recorded.
Cameron County has a total of 300 cases, 204 confirmed cases and 96 probable. There have been 1,068 negative tests conducted. Six deaths have been reported due to coronavirus.
In Pennsylvania, there were 998,227 confirmed cases and 190,618 probable cases of COVID-19, as of Tuesday. To date, 4,526,726 negative tests have been conducted in the state and 26,871 deaths have been recorded due to coronavirus.
In regard to vaccine distribution, Pennsylvania has administered 5,543,045 partial vaccinations and 4,242,190 full vaccinations. In McKean County, there have been 7,871 partial and 8,311 full vaccines administered.
Elk County has seen 1,766 partial and 12,234 full vaccines administered. In Potter County, current totals are at 1,272 partial and 2,982 full vaccines administered.
In Cameron County, there have been 291 partial and 1,827 full vaccines administered.
