There are new virus cases in all four counties in The Era’s coverage area: one new case in Elk County, 10 new cases in McKean County, four new cases in Potter County and three new cases in Cameron County.
McKean County has a total of 3,672 cases, which includes 2,796 confirmed cases and 876 probable. To date, 11,000 negative tests have been conducted and 69 deaths have been recorded due to coronavirus.
Elk County has a total of 2,837 cases; 1,560 confirmed and 1,277 probable cases of coronavirus. Negative tests conducted in the county total 6,396 and 39 people have died due to COVID-19.
Potter County has 1,134 total cases, with 993 confirmed cases and 141 probable. There have been 3,541 negative tests conducted and 23 deaths in the county.
Cameron County has 298 total cases of COVID-19, 202 confirmed cases and 96 probable. There have been 1,066 negative tests conducted and eight deaths reported.
As of Friday, Pennsylvania had 993,915 confirmed cases and 189,007 probable. Throughout the state, 4,501,828 negative tests have been conducted. To date, 26,724 Pennsylvanians have died due to coronavirus.
As of Friday, Pennsylvania had administered a total of 9,534,664 vaccines; of those, 5,442,682 are partial and 4,091,982 are full vaccinations.
In McKean County, 7,883 partial vaccinations have been given out and 8,126 full vaccinations have been administered.
In Elk County, 1,861 partial vaccines have been administered and 12,031 full vaccinations.
Potter County has administered 1,260 partial vaccinations and 2,957 full vaccinations.
In Cameron County, there have been 312 partial vaccinations and 1,772 full vaccinations administered.
