Two men pleaded guilty this month in McKean County Court to charges connected to a robbery that happened in 2019 in Bradford City.
Andrew I. Meadows, 19, of Bradford, and Dylan J. Dinch, 23, of East Smethport, each had status conferences scheduled before President Judge John Pavlock on the days they entered their pleas.
Meadows pleaded guilty Monday to a single charge of robbery-take property by force, a third-degree felony. Meanwhile, charges of aggravated assault, theft and a more serious robbery charge were dismissed, according to court records.
Dinch pleaded guilty May 3 to a charge of simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor. A felony aggravated assault charge was dismissed when he entered his plea, court records stated.
The cases had been scheduled for trial next week.
The criminal complaints filed at the time of their arrest alleged that at 9:58 p.m. Nov. 16, 2019, on Boylston Street, Meadows punched a man a couple of times, causing the man to fall to the ground, then Dinch also punched the man, knocking him unconscious; Meadows then went through the man’s pockets and took a phone and cash.
Meadows and Dinch will be sentenced June 10.
Meadows is currently incarcerated in McKean County Jail, while Dylan is free, having posted 10% of $30,000 bail.
