There were 25 new cases of COVID-19 in the region as of Friday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County had 17 more cases of COVID-19 for a total of 3,594, Elk County had two more cases for 2,823, Potter County had six more cases for 1,105, and Cameron County’s total held steady at 293.
Statewide, there were 5,462 additional cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 1,169,678.
As for vaccines, McKean County had 7,824 residents partially and 7,775 residents fully vaccinated; Elk County, 2,019 partially and 11,207 fully; Potter County, 1,159 partially and 2,859 fully; and Cameron County, 274 partially and 1,578 fully.
As of Friday, Pennsylvania had administered 5,266,745 partial vaccinations and 3,774,492 full vaccinations, for a total of 9,041,237.
Potter County currently has five patients hospitalized with COVID-19, one of which is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Elk County has one patient hospitalized with COVID-19, none of which are in the ICU, and McKean County has none.
Statewide, there are 2,012 residents hospitalized with COVID-19, with 436 adult patients in the ICU and 237 on ventilators.
