The region had 27 new cases of COVID-19 reported as of Thursday, according to information on the Pennsylvania Department of Health dashboard.
McKean County had 17 new cases for a total of 3,470, 2,635 confirmed and 835 probable. Elk County had six new cases for a total of 2,800, with a breakdown of 1,536 confirmed cases and 1,264 probable. Cameron County had no new cases, with 287 total (193 confirmed and 94 probable), while Potter County reported four new cases for a total of 1,068, 926 confirmed and 142 probable.
There are no new deaths reported as of Thursday.
Pennsylvania has 965,988 confirmed cases and 180,410 probable cases of COVID-19 as of Thursday. There have been 26,179 deaths reported.
Currently 2,318 patients are hospitalized with COVID-19, 522 of those in the Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU). There are 294 patients currently on ventilators in the state.
Elk County has two patients hospitalized with COVID-19, while McKean County has one patient and Potter County has three patients. None of the local counties have any patients on a ventilator, according to Pennsylvania Department of Health statistics.
Pennsylvania vaccine providers have administered 8,330,129 vaccines, 4,980,309 partial vaccines and 3,349,820 full vaccines.
In McKean County, 6,861 partial vaccines have been administered and 7,186 full vaccines have been doled out by vaccine providers.
Elk County has administered 2,384 partial vaccines and 10,479 full vaccines.
Cameron County has 325 partially vaccinated residents and 1,492 fully vaccinated residents, while Potter County has 1,436 partially vaccinated and 2,453 fully vaccinated residents.
