There were 15 more cases of COVID-19 reported in the region as of Monday.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, McKean County had 10 more cases for 3,434 and Elk County had five more cases for 2,785. There were no new cases reported in Potter or Cameron counties.
According to the health department, there were 1,881 additional positive cases of COVID-19, in addition to 3,162 new cases reported Sunday, for a two-day total of 5,043 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 1,136,057.
As of Monday, there were 2,561 individuals statewide hospitalized with COVID-19. Of that number, 544 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19. In McKean County, two patients were hospitalized with COVID-19; in Elk County, three patients; and in Potter County, two patients. None were in intensive care, and none were on ventilators.
Regarding vaccines, McKean County has partially vaccinated 6,894 and fully vaccinated 7,064; Elk, 2,532 partial and 10,247 full; Potter County, 1,449 partial and 2,421 full; and Cameron County, 396 partial and 1,411 full.
According to the CDC, as of Monday morning, Pennsylvania has administered first doses of vaccine to 47.3% of its eligible population, and the state ranks 10th among all 50 states for first doses administered by percentage of population. Pennsylvania ranks 5th among all 50 states for total doses administered.
Vaccine providers have administered 8,043,744 total vaccine doses as of Monday, with 3,200,270 people fully vaccinated, and a seven-day moving average of more than 96,800 people per day receiving vaccinations.
A total of 1,914,947 people are partially vaccinated, meaning they have received one dose of a two-dose vaccine.
