SMETHPORT — The McKean County Conservation District and Allegheny Plateau Invasive Plant Management Area are hosting an Invasive Plant & iMapInvasives Webinar on May 13.
The Conservation District is partnering with Penn State Extension and IMapInvasives for the free informational webinar on invasive species in the region. The webinar will be held from noon to 2 p.m. May 13.
The following will be discussed:
• Invasive species ecology and identification
• Mapping and reporting invasive plants using iMapInvasives
• Management, control and treatment methods
• EDRR invasive plants and insects
