The local region saw 24 new cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County reported seven more cases for a total of 3,377 — 2,557 confirmed, 820 probable and 10,573 negative tests; Elk County reported eight more cases for a total of 2,757 — 1,501 confirmed, 1,256 probable and 6,113 negative tests; and Potter County reported nine more cases for a total of 1,035 — 895 confirmed, 140 probable and 3,378 negative tests.
Cameron County stayed the same at 286 cases, for 192 confirmed, 94 probable and 1,038 negative tests.
Currently, 4,523,808 Pennsylvania residents have been partially vaccinated, with 2,886,162 receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination.
In McKean County, 5,515 residents have been partially vaccinated, with 6,445 fully vaccinated; Elk County, 2,497 partially vaccinated and 9,909 fully vaccinated; Potter County, 664 partially vaccinated and 1,976 fully vaccinated; and Cameron County, 423 partially vaccinated and 1,337 fully vaccinated.
In regards to hospitalizations, Elk County currently has two patients hospitalized with COVID-19, while Potter County has one and McKean County has none.
