A fire Monday morning on 9 Prendergast Ave. in Bradford caused damage to a pool and surrounding decking.
Bradford City Firefighters were dispatched at 10:23 a.m. for an outdoor fire and arrived to find an overloaded extension cord had caught fire, causing damage to plumbing for a pool, the pool cover and the deck nearby.
Crews were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
The home is owned by Eric Eliason.
