There were 45 additional cases of COVID-19 in the region over the weekend, as reported by the Pennsylvania Department of Health on Sunday.
McKean County had 27 more cases for a total of 3,358 — 2,543 confirmed, 815 probable and 10,554 negative tests; Elk County had 10 more for a total of 2,740 — 1,492 confirmed, 1,248 probable and 6,090 negative tests; Potter County had seven more cases for a total of 1,023 — 883 confirmed, 140 probable and 3,365 negative tests; and Cameron County had one more case for a total of 286 — 192 confirmed, 94 probable and 1,032 negative tests.
In Pennsylvania, there are currently 935,702 confirmed cases and 171,675 probable cases of COVID-19, as reported by the department of health Sunday. There have been 4,288,381 negative tests conducted and 25,688 deaths due to COVID-19 in the state.
McKean County has reported 66 deaths due to COVID-19, while Elk County has reported 38 deaths; Potter County, 23; and Cameron County, seven.
Regarding vaccines, McKean County had administered 4,463 partial doses and 6,319 full doses; Elk County, 2,483 partial and 9,806 full; Potter County, 684 partial and 1,932 full; and Cameron County, 433 partial and 1,308 full.
Statewide, Pennsylvania had administered 4,339,865 partial and 2,744,149 full doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to residents.
In Pennsylvania, there are currently 2,638 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, with 551 in the intensive care unit and 278 on ventilators.
In McKean County, there are currently two patients hospitalized with COVID-19, while Elk County has four, and Potter County has three.
