The weekly meeting of Take Off Pounds Sensibly #623 was held Tuesday with weigh-ins at 4:30 p.m. at Chico’s Cafe and Bake Shoppe.
Eight members weighed in with a loss of 7.6 pounds. Kathy and one other member were the best losers.
Jayme read an article titled “To Eat Better, Relax.” It stated that low grade stress can contribute to weight gain and suggested that mindful meditation may be used to manage weight.
Amy presented a program on motivation. It expressed three things to become more motivated: 1. Reflect on who we are now. 2. Decide who we want to be. 3. Create a vision board using pictures, words and activities.
This week members are to stay away from sweets and drink more water.
