There are 14 new cases of COVID-19 in McKean County, 11 in Elk County and one new case in Cameron County as of Thursday. Potter County reported no change.
This puts the county totals as follows:
Cameron 285 (191 confirmed and 94 probable cases), McKean 3,316 (2,507 confirmed and 809 probable cases), Elk 2,716 (1,474 confirmed and 1,242 probable) and Potter at 1,015 (876 confirmed cases and 139 probable).
As for current totals on negative tests conducted, McKean County has the highest total with 10,480, Elk is second in the region with 6,058, Potter has 3,359 and Cameron has 1,030 negative tests conducted.
The state of Pennsylvania currently has 923,771 confirmed cases and 169,081 probable cases of COVID-19, official data reported Thursday. There have been 4,259,382 negative tests conducted and 25,566 deaths due to COVID-19 in the state.
In regard to COVID-19 vaccine distribution, 6,736,568 vaccines have been administered in Pennsylvania as of Thursday; 4,180,987 partial vaccines administered statewide and 2,555,581 full vaccines administered.
In Cameron County, there are 460 partially vaccinated residents and 1,250 fully vaccinated.
Vaccines in Elk County are currently at 2,868 partially vaccinated and 9,189 fully vaccinated, while McKean County has 4,515 partially vaccinated and 6,054 fully vaccinated residents.
Potter County has 720 partially vaccinated and 1,857 fully vaccinated residents.
As of Thursday, there were 2,577 COVID-19 patients hospitalized. Of those, 572 are adults in the ICU and 265 are on ventilators.
Elk County had two patients hospitalized and none in the ICU while McKean County had three patients hospitalized, also with none in the ICU. Potter County did not have any patients hospitalized with COVID-19 as of Thursday.
