A Bradford man was sent to jail for allegedly breaking into the Edward Jones building on Main Street early Tuesday and remaining inside until he was discovered by an employee reporting to work.
Eric D. Green, 30, who is listed on the criminal complaint as homeless, is charged with criminal trespass, a third-degree felony, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors.
According to the criminal complaint, at 12:48 a.m. Tuesday, Green entered through a rear door of the building at 81 Main St. He remained inside until hours later, when an employee coming to work discovered him inside.
He was still inside the building when police arrived, and was in possession of amphetamine/methamphetamine, packaging for the drug and a clear glass pipe containing drug residue, police said.
Green was arraigned before District Judge Dom Cercone and remanded to jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 21.
