DUKE CENTER — The communities of Otto-Eldred have come together to plan, build, install and fill 8 Blessing Boxes and Community Cupboards in Duke Center, Eldred and Rixford.
The boxes contain various items like food, hygiene products and small clothing items such as socks. All items are new and free.
The red boxes with white roofs are available 24/7. Anyone may take or place items in our boxes. “Take what you need. Leave what you can.”
They are located at the Eldred and Duke Center United Methodist churches, the empty lot by Fox’s Pizza, West Eldred Road, Indian Creek Road, Otto Firehall, Duke Center Post Office and the Rixford Well back parking lot.
