EMPORIUM — The Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library is holding an April family reading challenge.
Volunteers will read their favorite stories for the event. Each week, a new video and story will be posted on the library’s website.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to get your family together each evening for a fun book, and it is perfect for all you children (babies, preschoolers, elementary age),” said Library Storyteller, Miss Alex. “And you get a free book just for finishing the challenge!”
Calendars needed to participate in the challenge will be available to pick up at the library during their regular service hours. If you cannot make it to pick one up, just let the library know and they can email a copy to you. Calendars are also available to download on the library website.
Each video will also be posted on the library’s programs page at https://barbaramoscatobrownlibrary.org/library-programs/. You do not need to have an active Facebook account to view the videos for this, or any other library programs.
The Library’s regular Story Hour program will be integrated into the videos. Each week, Miss Alex will continue to read two stories, and craft materials will be available at the library.
