There were an additional 18 cases of COVID-19 in the local region on Wednesday, as reported by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County reported an additional seven cases, for 3,177 total — 2,393 confirmed, 784 probable and 10,215 negative tests. McKean County has had 65 deaths due to COVID-19.
Elk County had an additional 10 cases, for a total of 2,548 — 1,358 confirmed, 1,190 probable and 5,820 negative tests. Elk County has had 37 deaths due to COVID-19.
Potter County had one more additional case, for 981 total — 844 confirmed, 137 probable and 3,292 negative tests. The county has reported 22 deaths due to COVID-19.
Cameron County stayed at a total of 278 total cases Wednesday, with a total of six deaths.
In regards to COVID-19 vaccines, as of Wednesday, 4,347 McKean County residents had been partially covered, with 4,206 fully covered; Elk County, 3150 partially covered and 7,737 fully covered; Potter County, 845 partially covered and 1,466 fully covered; and Cameron County, 539 partially covered and 1,018 fully covered.
Statewide, there have been 3,324,113 partial vaccinations and 1,830,605 full vaccinations.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported an additional 4,557 positive cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 1,024,857.
