SMETHPORT — During a 26-county swing, Pennsylvania Superior Court candidate Jill Beck stopped in McKean County on Saturday, March 27 to meet with PA State Democratic Committee member Jim Heckman.
“I am so grateful for the opportunity to travel the commonwealth and meet with supporters like Jim Heckman in Smethport,” said Beck. “As a political outsider and first-time candidate for elected office, my campaign is dependent on local leaders and grassroots supporters like Jim — and all those I have been so fortunate to meet throughout the course of this campaign. I look forward to continuing my efforts to meet with voters — in person and through the screen — to share my message of ensuring justice for all Pennsylvanians in our judicial system.”
A Pittsburgh-based attorney and lifelong advocate for the underserved, Beck is running for Superior Court to fulfill her goal of fighting for a fair and equitable appellate court system for Pennsylvania. She has spent her legal career representing clients on both sides of the Superior Court bench, as a law clerk and as an attorney. She has been highly recommended for the Superior Court by the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association has also recommended her for the position.
