There were 30 new cases of COVID-19 reported for the four local counties over the weekend.
In McKean County, there were 13 more cases reported, for a total of 2,378 confirmed cases and 773 probable.
In Elk County, there were also 13 more cases reported, for a total of 1,335 confirmed cases and 1,176 probable. Potter County had no new cases, with numbers staying at 839 confirmed and 137 probable.
Cameron County had four new cases, for a total of 186 positive cases and 91 probable.
In regards to the COVID-19 vaccine, McKean County reported 4,425 partially vaccinated residents and 4,048 fully vaccinated.
Elk County has 3,149 partially vaccinated and 7,589 fully vaccinated residents; Potter County, 976 partially and 1,312 fully vaccinated; and Cameron County, 531 partially and 1,009 fully vaccinated.
Due to technical issues, no statewide COVID-19 data was released over the weekend. Statewide totals are expected to update today at noon.
Earlier this month, Gov. Tom Wolf said the secretary of health issued an order that vaccine providers make efforts to schedule all 1A vaccination appointments by March 28. There was no information available Sunday regarding whether this goal was met.
