SMETHPORT — A Wilcox man accused in two cases pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court to allegations including that he threatened to kill someone and he resisted being arrested.
Todd H. Stahli, 25, entered a guilty plea to these charges: in one case to terroristic threats and a summary charge, and in the other case to resisting arrest and loitering and prowling at nighttime in the other. According to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade, on Oct. 29, Stahli threatened to kill a woman and punched her; then, on Nov. 14, he prowled around someone’s property and subsequently resisted arrest, requiring that a state trooper deploy a Taser on him twice before he could be taken into custody.
Stahli will be sentenced April 29.
Also in court, Meagan E. Williams, 43, of Jamestown, N.Y., pleaded guilty to a charge of endangering the welfare of children. On Sept. 27, Williams left a 13-year-old child at Kinzua Bridge State Park without items including a means of communication, food and water, according to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer. Williams will be sentenced April 29.
Paul Hackenburg, 66, of Penns Creek, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of unstamped cigarettes and two summary charges. On Jan. 24, Hackenburg possessed more than 1,000 unstamped cigarettes, said Shaffer. Hackenburg will pay fines and costs.
