BEST: Drumroll please. We’re about to announce the top 10 best Easter candies, as named by CandyStore.com
We’re happy to say that all but two of the entries on the list include some sort of chocolate.
Number 10 is Hershey’s fun-sized candy bars with Easter wrappers. Number 9 is Skittles-filled Easter eggs, then Robins Eggs from Whoppers and Kinder Joy Eggs candy.
Number 6 is gourmet or naturally flavored jelly beans. While generic jelly beans made the “worst” list, these flavored-packed little candies are favorites of many people. Brands like Jelly Belly, Starburst and Jolly Rancher tend to be smaller, but have a larger variety of flavors.
Number 5 on the list is a treat we’d love to try: Mallow Top Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. We didn’t know such a thing existed, but we’re already on board with it even before we’ve tasted it.
Number 4 is foil-wrapped chocolate eggs, an oldie but goody.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs are at number 3. CandyStore.com says these Reese’s cups are “an absolute juggernaut in the candy world.” So it’s no surprise that the egg-shaped treats are just as popular.
Number 2 on the list goes to hollow chocolate bunnies, a treat that goes back to the 1890s in Germany. While some thing a solid chocolate bunny is just too much, the hollow version seems to be much more popular.
The winner of the most popular Easter candy is Cadbury Mini Eggs, which the website says are “simply glorious.”
