The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported 27 new cases of COVID-19 in the local region on Wednesday.
There were 18 more cases in Elk County, for a total of 2,464 — 1,311 confirmed, 1,153 probable and 5,741 negative tests. In McKean County, there were five new cases, for a total of 3,130 — 2,360 confirmed, 770 probable and 10,106 negative tests. Potter County had four new cases, for a total of 976 — 840 confirmed, 136 probable and 3,259 negative tests. Cameron County had no new cases, staying at 271.
There were 4,667 new positive cases of COVID-19 reported in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, bringing the total to 996,617, with 4,076,349 negative tests and 11,389,541 PCR tests.
As for vaccines, Elk County has 2,673 residents who are partially covered and 7,348 who are fully covered. McKean County has 3,440 partially covered and 3,768 fully covered, Potter County has 990 partially covered and 1,207 fully covered and Cameron County has 611 partially covered and 922 fully covered.
Statewide, there have been 2,918,012 partial vaccines administered and 1,592,201 full vaccinations administered.
