The Senate Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee will consider four bills at a meeting set for 9:15 a.m. today in the Senate Chamber, according to Committee Chairman Senator Elder Vogel.
Among those is House Bill 110, introduced by Rep. Martin Causer, R-Turtlepoint, which proposes to change the composition and terms of membership of the Hardwoods Development Council.
Others include:
House Bill 101, introduced by Representative Barbara Gleim, establishes the Agritourism Activity Protection Act to provide limited liability protection for providers.
Senate Bill 251, introduced by Senator Gene Yaw, amends the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes to set clear standards for the application of fertilizer to turf and provide for labels and labeling and the disposition of funds.
Senate Bill 434, introduced by Senator Vogel, provides for milk “sell by date” and “best by date” labeling.
