A lot has changed during the past year at the Bradford Family YMCA (and everywhere), but their commitment remains the same: supporting our community when we need them most.
As the YMCA prepares to kick off this year’s Annual Campaign, Halloran Philanthropies has stepped up to further our community’s support for the Y.
By pledging a matching grant of $30,000 for gifts given by area residents, these donations double. For employees of companies like American Refining Group Inc. with a matching-gifts program, contributions triple.
“We are so excited to announce this chance at doubling – in some cases even tripling – your contribution’s impact, and Halloran Philanthropies’ generosity makes this possible,” said Bradford Family YMCA Executive Director Stacie Titus. “We cannot thank them enough for this incredible boost to such a critical annual c ampaign for our Y.”
Halloran Philanthropies Director Brian Fernandes-Halloran said, “Halloran Philanthropies has been deeply inspired by the Bradford community’s response to the challenges brought forth by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Institutions like the YMCA saw needs as they emerged and responded in real time, so that its members could continue to work and have a safe space through the most difficult of times,” Fernandes-Halloran continued. “The YMCA’s work is far from over, so we at Halloran Philanthropies are offering this match to support the YMCA’s programming.”
When one gives to the YMCA, the tax-deductible donation helps youth achieve their full potential, empowers people of all ages to lead healthier lives and strengthens the bonds of community. Donate today or make a pledge to donate later, so the local YMCA can continue to deliver programs, services and initiatives empowering people to grow in spirit, mind and body.
“We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the support and generosity from Halloran Philanthropies for making this opportunity possible,” added Brent Raabe, YMCA director of association advancement. “We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors.”
