Zonta ClubThe Zonta Club of Bradford held a luncheon meeting on Wednesday at The Bradford Club. The meeting was also held virtually for members unable to attend in person.
A brief business meeting led by Club President Fran Stewart was held.
The Advocacy Committee gave a report on Rose Day. The committee achieved a successful outcome in light of having to work around COVID restrictions. The entire club congratulated the committee for going above and beyond to make this event a success.
Shelley Harvey introduced the speaker, Heidi Scrivo Passmore, executive director at the Bradford Chamber of Commerce. Passmore updated members on the work the chamber has been doing the past year. She then spoke of the new and exciting things to come in 2021. She ended her presentation with discussion on the pandemic impact on women in the workplace.
Stewart closed the meeting and thanked everyone for participating.
The next meeting will be a craft night on March 24 at Cummins Country Charm.
