The meeting of Take Off Pounds Sensibly #16 was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at The First Presbyterian Church, 54 E. Corydon St.
The meeting was called to order by Leader Vickie Johnson with TOPS and KOPS pledge. The song was “It’s a Good Sign” to the tune of “I’ll Walk the Line.”
Weight Recorder Carole VanSickle and Assistant Weight Recorder Barb Smead weight in 14 members with a loss of 9.0 pounds.
Best loser in Waiting is Nan Stoling and Officer of the Week is Dianna Lewis. Three members were excused, and four members have to keep calories.
The secretary’s report was by Dianna Lewis.
The birthday gift was won by Jamie Larson. Man Stoling was awarded a charm for weight loss.
The fashion tip was given by Dianna Lewis, the household tips by Chris McCracken, healthy tips by Elaine Harris and jokes by Jamie Larson. The Food Chart was won by Theresa Bond.
The Nickelodeon was sausage. The food to avoid is potatoes. The fruit is plums and the vegetable is radishes.
Buddies were picked for next week.
Liz Tanner presented a program on simple steps to get someone started.
The meeting was adjourned with the Friendship Circle and the TOPS Prayer.
