SMETHPORT (EC) — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Smethport Fire Department cancelled its annual awards banquet, which is usually scheduled in February.
Instead, awards were presented at the department’s March meeting.
The following members received awards for years of membership: One Year: Sharon Mead, Adrian Green and Holly Peranio; Five Years: Karl Rinamon, Kurt Rinamon and John Tanner; Ten Years: Randy Taylor, Mike Hook and Wayne Foltz; Fifteen Years: Stephanie Scrivo and Carl Smith; Twenty Years: Greg Rounsville, Dave Keesler, Karen Jones and Tom Jones; Twenty-five Years: Barry Austin, Janice Wilcox and Carol Kirsch; Thirty Years: Roger Van Gorder, Brenda Young, Tom McKean and Brian Gustafson; Thirty-five Years: Scott Field, Charlie Jones, Gerard Rettger, Bill Rettger, Max Simms and Dave Jones; Forty Years: Bob Clark; Forty-five Years: Gary Cunningham; Fifty Years: Jim Master and Bill Ford; and Life Members: Greg Rounsville and Max Simms.
