There were 16 additional cases of COVID-19 identified in the region as of Tuesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
McKean County had six more cases of COVID-19 for a total of 3,083 — 2,328 confirmed and 755 probable with 9,863 negative tests. Bradford had three additional cases for 991 confirmed and 173 probable; and the remaining cases were in Kane, with 291 confirmed and 84 probable; and Port Allegany, with 207 confirmed and 28 probable.
Elk County had seven additional cases for a total of 2,358 — 1,251 confirmed, 1,107 probable and 5,569 negative tests. Three more cases were reported in St. Marys for 561 confirmed and 478 probable; and the rest in Ridgway, with 280 confirmed and 185 probable.
Potter County had three additional cases for a total of 957 — 828 confirmed, 129 probable and 3,180 negative tests. The additional cases were in Coudersport, with 340 confirmed and 46 probable.
Cameron County’s number didn’t change. There have been 264 cases of COVID-19 and 983 negative tests.
As for vaccines, in McKean County, 3,013 partial vaccines have been administered, and 2,399 full vaccines; in Elk County, 3,274 partial and 5,209 full; in Potter County, 900 partial and 673 full; and in Cameron County, 662 partial and 656 full. In total, statewide, 3,047,539 doses have been administered.
In Pennsylvania, there were 2,975 additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 953,136.
There were 40 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry, reported for a total of 24,396 deaths attributed to COVID-19. There were no additional deaths reported locally.
There are 1,502 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. Of that number, 303 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19. In Elk County, there were four patients hospitalized with COVID-19, in Potter County, one patient, and in McKean County, no patients.
