The Pennsylvania Department of Health indicated Thursday that there were 19 new cases of COVID-19 in the region.
McKean County had five additional cases of COVID-19 for 3,056 total — 2,309 confirmed, 747 probable and 9,797 negative tests.
Elk County had six additional cases for 2,348 total — 1,245 confirmed, 1,103 probable and 5,521 negative tests.
Potter County had eight additional cases for 952 total — 822 confirmed, 130 probable and 3,145 negative tests.
There was no change in Cameron County’s case count. It remains at 261. There have been 973 negative tests.
In the state, there have been 1,761,703 given the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 791,815 given the second dose, according to the health department.
In McKean County, there have been 2,047 first doses and 2,242 second; Elk, 3,597 first doses, 4,090 second; in Potter, 530 first doses, 578 second; and in Cameron, 747 first and 466 second.
According to the health department, there were 3,028 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 941,439.
The cases in McKean County are as follows: Bradford, 987 confirmed, 169 probable; Lewis Run, 125 confirmed, 329 probable; Kane, 290 confirmed, 83 probable; Smethport, 290 confirmed, 39 probable; Port Allegany, 202 confirmed, 28 probable; Eldred, 136 confirmed, 28 probable; Mount Jewett, 46 confirmed, 12 probable; Rixford, 35 confirmed, 6 probable; Duke Center, 28 confirmed, 7 probable; Rew, 24 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Cyclone, 20 confirmed, 8 probable; Derrick City, 15 confirmed, 5 probable; Gifford, 15 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Turtlepoint, 15 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Ludlow, 9 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; and Crosby, 7 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable.
The cases in Elk County are as follows: St. Marys, 560 confirmed, 476 probable; Ridgway, 276 confirmed, 184 probable; Johnsonburg, 127 confirmed, 85 probable; Weedville, 67 confirmed, 42 probable; Wilcox, 34 confirmed, 34 probable; Sigel, 51 confirmed, 11 probable; Brockport, 46 confirmed, 35 probable; Kersey, 87 confirmed, 109 probable; Byrnedale, 5 confirmed, 6 probable; Benezette, 7 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; and James City, 1 to 4 of both confirmed and probable.
In Potter County, the cases are as follows: Coudersport, 336 confirmed, 47 probable; Shinglehouse, 153 confirmed, 43 probable; Roulette, 54 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Austin, 63 confirmed, 23 probable; Galeton, 62 confirmed, 7 probable; Ulysses, 52 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Genesee, 62 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; Harrison Valley, 27 confirmed, 6 probable; Mills, 7 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable; and Cross Fork, 5 confirmed, 1 to 4 probable.
The cases in Cameron County are as follows: Emporium, 153 confirmed, 73 probable; and Driftwood and Sinnemahoning each have eight confirmed and 1 to 4 probable cases.
As of Thursday, there were 50 new deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry, reported for a total of 24,219 deaths attributed to COVID-19. There were no additional deaths locally.
