COUDERSPORT — Two were charged after firearms were seized from an Oswayo Township property on Monday.
Charges have been filed against Allen Wackwitz, 36, of Shinglehouse, and Amber Jones, 28, of Smethport, Coudersport-based state police reported.
According to police, at 6 p.m. Sunday, troopers investigated a report of a threat involving firearms on Brizzie Hollow Road, Oswayo Township. Police executed a search warrant at the property on Monday and seized multiple firearms and drug paraphernalia.
Police did not provide any further details on the alleged incident that prompted the search.
Both are charged with terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; recklessly endangering another person and simple assault, second-degree misdemeanors. Jones faces an additional charge of harassment, a third-degree misdemeanor.
Jones and Wackwitz were each committed to Potter County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for March 9.
