EMPORIUM — After trailing through the majority of three quarters, Port Allegany used an 18-point fourth quarter to edge Cameron County, 51-45.
Bree Garzel led the Lady Gators (12-5) with 21 points, 13 of which came in the final stanza. She also pulled down 12 rebounds and handed out seven assists, just missing a triple-double.
Jade Evens had 13 points, eight rebounds and four blocks for Port, as she and Garzel combined to knock down seven 3-pointers. Evin Stauffer added 12 points for the Lady Gators.
Cameron County (11-10) was led by the duo of Hailey Hilfiger and Kaelee Bresslin, who each scored 14 points. Hilfiger also pulled down 17 rebounds, while Morgan Lorenzo scored eight points and pulled down nine rebounds.
